Please let us hear from you if you are interested in visiting with our membership at a regular meeting or event.

We have camp members who are highly involved performing Confederate grave marker dedications and memorial ceremonies. We also have members who are very involved in reenacting battles in a Confederate artillery battery and infantry units. There are many ways our Confederate ancestors may be honored. In addition to what has been mentioned, they may be honored by our service as geneologists, historians, webmasters, organizers of various Confederate events, participation in parades and festivals, or simply by being a member on the roll of the SCV to support the Cause.

Below is a list of our camp officers. Any of these men will be more than happy to visit with you about our camp, the SCV, and our Confederate heritage.
JOIN US!

Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all male descendants of any veteran who served honorably in the Confederate armed forces. Membership can be obtained through either lineal or collateral family lines and kinship to a veteran must be documented genealogically. The minimum age for full membership is 12, but there is no minimum for Cadet membership.

Applicants should submit an application form, along with a detailed genealogy describing your relationship to the veteran, and proof of his service.

To obtain proof of his service, contact the archives of the state from which the soldier fought and obtain a copy of the veteran's military service record. All Southern state's archives have microfilm records of the soldiers who fought from that state, and a copy of the information can be obtained for a nominal fee. In addition, the former Confederate states awarded pensions to veterans and their widows. All of these records contain a wealth of information that can be used to document military service.

The SCV has a network of genealogists to assist you in tracing you ancestor's Confederate service.

The SCV has memberships for those men who support the SCV Charge , but do not have the Confederate ancestry for membership into the SCV. These are called  "Friends of the Sons of Confederate Veterans" memberships. We also have associate members who are SCV members of other camps, but want to support our camp as well.

To join the SCV, please email the Reagan Camp or contact the SCV directly at www.1800mysouth.com or by calling 1-800-MY SOUTH.
